No, we’re not talking about “Fifty Shades of Grey” even though so many people love using the “Fifty Shades” line I couldn’t help myself either. Valentine’s Day may be next week but you all should know that this colour is also becoming popular for Spring 2013 so use the holiday for practice before getting into full swing with the rouge.
Red has become such a classic colour expressing so many things that define its impact on the fashion world from complexity, passion to sophistication. However, apart from the traditional lipstick reds that would first pop into our head, let’s not forget that there are tones galore to play with now!
February is still cold so why not warm up to darker wine and burgundy hues that still make a great statement.
The mini is back and popping all over the place where a bright poppy red will make sure to turn heads.
There are so many beautiful stone rings embracing browns and reds, together, complimenting their collaborations with gold.
Orange-red is a colour I am starting to obsess over more and more and can you blame a gal? Wearing a pair of blood orange heels accents any outfit especially when wearing neutral pieces. Everyone will be looking down at your legs.
Red and pink floral prints combine the right mix of strong and soft especially on silk materials and look fantastic with a pair of jeans or leggings.
Coral! Over the past year we have seen jeans in every colour of the rainbow but I must say that coral has always stuck with me. Just like the floral pattern above, coral is the right combination of red, pink and white.

I will have you feeling like Hefner with this Fall trend… I am loving the fact that flats are not only in style this season, they are also sexy and effortless as the smoking slipper is all over the place. From the catwalks in Paris to your chain retailer, there are many choices to settle your fancy at every price point. Luxe in rich jewel tones and textured leathers and prints, which are the perfect stylish footwear du jour this Fall and Winter season. Of course you may have to watch for the rain, but hey, when the sun comes out to play, maybe your feet will too. Chic in simplicity, sexy in texture, giving all the sass and roar of a stiletto while saving you a heel. Which is how, for this season, the flat got its sexy back.

Glossy leathers, waxed suedes, and lacquered tweeds – these were all various textures involved in Alexander Wang’s newest collection. It’s been deemed one of his most luxurious collections to date; all the hardware is gold, and the fabric custom developed – but is it wearable?
As one of his loyal fans, It’s a definitive yes. The collection was full of true utilitarian shapes that he is so well known for, including a few too many must-have jackets and knee-high boots that are soon be in every street style photo next fall.
And those mesh turtlenecks that remind you of post-apocalyptic ninja bike messengers? Well sign me up for some jiujutsu because I’m sold.

Autumn is always bittersweet for me. It means crunchy leaves, gorgeous colours, and luscious fall accessories. But it also means that winter’s evil wrath is nearing closer. Considering the fact that we cannot fight Mother Nature, there is only one thing to do. Forget about our imminent hibernation and instead, embrace everything that is fabulous about this season – including beautifully chic fall gloves! This year, they’re retro, versatile, and oh so fun. Channel your inner bombshell with long lengths and fur-trimmed versions, or keep it casual with short, wrist grazers. Look for luxe textures like cashmere, suede and velvet. You can look posh and stay cozy too.
